Michael Miraflor

Michael is obsessed with all things Marketing, Culture, and Technology. As Chief Brand Officer, he helps support portfolio founders to shape brand development, content, and go to market strategy, accelerating growth to build Hannah Grey’s exceptional early stage companies into household names. He also oversees the Cultural Vibrations thesis-building and thought leadership platform, and establishes new and unique ways to interact and engage with a vibrant community of service providers, freelancers/contractors, brands, and agency partners.
Prior to Hannah Grey, Michael held senior brand and agency positions, including CMO of Virtual Dining Concepts, Head of Strategy at TBWA\Worldwide agency dotdotdash, and SVP at MediaLink, a boutique strategic advisory firm operating at the intersection of marketing, advertising, entertainment, tech, and finance, with a client book including Google, LVMH, Deloitte Digital, Walgreens Boots Alliance, IMAX, WarnerMedia, and S4 Capital. Michael also held various leadership positions at Publicis Media agencies for nearly a decade, including SVP, Global Head of Futures & Innovation at Blue 449 (now Spark Foundry), leading the launch of the agency network in the US, and contributing to the development of its global positioning, culture, and product offering. From a client service perspective, he oversaw the PUMA account across 34 markets, as well as leading integrated marketing and digital planning/buying for clients including but not limited to: H&M, Kering (Gucci, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, etc), Abercrombie & Fitch, DJI, BASF, Swarovski, and Georgia Pacific. Highlights include leading social strategy and execution for two Super Bowl campaigns, and serving as digital transformation lead for multiple new business wins.
Michael is an alum of the University of California, Berkeley where he double majored in Political Science and Mass Communications, and earned an Executive MBA at The Berlin School of Creative Leadership at Steinbeis University School of Management & Innovation in Berlin, Germany. He serves as a board member of the non-profit International Radio and Television Society and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
